Feel better the natural way!
Oriental Medicine is a complete medical system which encompasses a variety of health care therapies developed over many centuries, the most popular of which are acupuncture and herbology. It is a comprehensive, time tested, system of preventative health care and health maintenance, used to effectively treat a wide variety of conditions. One of the most important concepts of Oriental medicine is that of natural balance. Its emphasis is to evaluate the entire person to bring about well being and not merely to treat the symptom of illness.

In January 2014, Crystal received her degree, magna cum laude, from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. During her enrollment in the acupuncture program she completed an internship at Acupuncture By Chen, mentored by Dr. Shixi Chen (OMD). In August 2018, Crystal graduated from the Won Institute in Glenside, Pennsylvania, completing her certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine. Her style of acupuncture is one that intertwines traditional Chinese acupuncture and the Balance Method of the late Dr. Richard Tan.
One of the oldest and most complex medicinal arts that exists, it is based on ideas and theories formulated over hundreds of years about a vital life force that flows through our body. This life force is often thought of as an energy which flows through pathways called meridians. Certain points located along those energy pathways are used to manipulate the associated energy fields. Some points tend to move energy towards the interior of the body while others bring it to the surface. Acupuncture is the means through which these points are manipulated. Trauma, stress, environment, or medications are some of the factors that can cause an imbalance in the natural flow of energy. Acupuncture focuses on correcting that imbalance.

Herbs were commonly used before western pharmaceuticals were introduced. Treating and preventing medical conditions with herbs is naturally safe, as an overdose would cause irritation or nausea instead of landing in the emergency room.
